Covid-19 has taken an emotional toll on George Fox University (GFU) choir students, who have not been able to sing together as a group. Covid-19 presented choir with additional obstacles to this community, such as mask requirements, Zoom classes, and restrictions on singing together in person.

Crescent History - “Foxy George”

Recently, Katie Hummer was waiting for lunch at Canyon Commons and noticed a peculiar illustration of a fox among other historical George Fox University (GFU) facts. “I was reading it [and thought] this guy is adorable,” she said. Student Play, Hakugame, Offers Hope for The Arts

‘Commuter Occupation’ Signs Outside Stevens Spark Controversy

On Oct. 27, David Johnstone, the associate dean of students and director of Commuter Life at George Fox University (GFU), sent an email to commuters expressing concern over a sign installation outside Stevens, which voiced discontent with Commuter Life’s treatment of commuters in 2020. Johnstone asked for the signmakers to reveal themselves, stating he would “love to visit with the signmakers.”
