It is that time of year again! October has arrived, bringing with it the “spooky season” and a host of fall festivities. As the leaves turn brown, the weather cools, and birds migrate south for the winter, it is the perfect time to flock to nearby pumpkin patches. Here are five local favorites to check out this season:

Their pumpkin patch is open from September 20 to October 27, with hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends. This Hillsboro farm features both a pumpkin patch and a corn maze, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
