“Eternals,” the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a film so full of content that there’s no room for it to succeed. With a dizzying ensemble of characters new to the screen, much of this movie feels like an overcrowded party, leaving the viewer trying to catch people’s names and struggling to remember their stories.

The GFU music department concerts are attended mostly by parents who can afford to make the trip, music faculty, and a few select students who have friends performing. But Bauman Auditorium is far from full capacity.

By no means an unknown band, The Mountain Goats are most often referred to as an indie rock band, but their music tends to fall into multiple genres. "Lamb," while anticipated to be a perfect blend of horror and suspense, was a disappointing, drama-driven film, and not at all a disturbing horror movie. The movie premiered on Oct. 8 in the United States Oct. 8 and was released by A24.

The Hadlock Center dress code at George Fox University has come under scrutiny by students for targeting women and creating a toxic environment. After many years, this complaint has been heard by the staff and, as of four weeks ago, the dress code has become more inclusive and less discriminatory towards female-identifying students.

In late January, Common Hymnal released a comprehensive collection of worship songs entitled “Praise and Protest” in reflection of both the stories of 2020 and those that have long existed in United States history. It is a collection of eighteen songs that have slowly been released over the course of last year. They explore Black narratives and the way in which Christians have a responsibility to involve themselves in social justice practices.

On October 14, Dr. Ross McCullough and Dr. Jekabs Bikis participated in a debate at George Fox University (GFU). Bikis argued that Christians should support capitalism, and McCullough argued that Christians should reject capitalism and aim for something better.
